Szczęśniak Special Vehicles: strengths and achievements

With almost thirty years of experience, innovation and production flexibility are the greatest advantages of Szczęśniak Special Vehicles. With these strengths, they produce single vehicles as well as entire fleets. It is the most modern company of its kind in Poland, which is made evident by both the number and range of vehicles produced.

Modern facilities enable the production of up to 20 vehicles per month. Eighty per cent of the annual production is vehicles for fire brigades, while military and special vehicles account for the remaining twenty per cent. Their vehicles are used in over 30 countries.

The motto motivating the company is that passion is a guarantee of the highest quality.

Design and implementation

As part of the project to expand the production plant and office space, BP2.eu® was asked to prepare an architectural design and comprehensive implementation plan for the roofing and facade solutions.

BP2.eu® designed the roof for the offices without purlins. T-135 and T-153 trapezoidal sheets, for structures with a large distance between beams, fulfilled the load-bearing function and met fire resistance requirements in accordance with fire reaction class B. The production plant, designed with a purlin roof, was covered with T-62 profiles with a thickness of 0.75 mm in Granite® Standard from ArcelorMittal Europe - Flat Products. Granite® organic coated steel has excellent durability, corrosion resistance, UV resistance, and good formability. The inner sides of the profiles were coated with the Estetic® Access from ArcelorMittal Europe - Flat Products. Due to a multi-span design, the assembly could be carried out quickly, which optimised construction costs.

The facade consists of SKRIN® facade cassettes produced by BP2.eu®. SKRIN® cassettes allow for diverse aesthetics in facade creation, in which the client can participate in the process of crafting the visual side of a project. This leads to greater satisfaction and full agreement being achieved at the project development stage. The cassettes are made of sheet metal with a minimum thickness of 1.20 mm, which, even in hard-to-reach places such as the recesses (made of ArcelorMittal steel in RAL 9006 colour), beautifully shapes the walls giving them a unique appearance.

Fruitful cooperation to guarantee success

The successful completion of this demanding project is due to all entities taking part in its implementation - from BP2.eu® undertaking the project to the supply of high-quality steel for the roofing and facade solutions from ArcelorMittal to the installation of finished products. Each participant in the process made every effort to ensure that the final result fully met the desired expectations.
