Granite® Ultramat in the spotlight
Granite® Ultramat is the latest addition to the Granite® range of pre-painted steels for outdoor building applications. Produced by ArcelorMittal steelworks in Świętochłowice, Poland, Granite® Ultramat is designed specifically for roofing and allows for the formation of the most difficult shapes of roofing sheets, even at low temperatures.
Granite® Ultramat recently received the MTP Gold Medal, one of the most prestigious awards in Poland, which is granted after a thorough assessment by experts of the most innovative products of the highest quality created on the basis of top-class technologies.

ArcelorMittal in 'Innovation in the steel construction industry' seminar
The second day of BUDMA, 13 February, will feature the ‘Innovation in the steel construction industry’ seminar supported by the Build With Steel (Buduj ze stali) initiative, managed by the Polish Chamber of Steelwork, and on behalf of their partners, including ArcelorMittal. Presentations will be devoted to the design of steel construction using BIM software, new steel grades, and the use of steel in contemporary architecture and Industry 4.0.
Presentations from ArcelorMittal will include: ‘An A to Z of structural steel grades’ by Wojciech Ochojski from ArcelorMittal Commercial Long Poland, and ‘Innovative use of steel in architecture’ by Marta Dziarnowska from ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products.
