With over 85 000 square metres of warehouse and office space, the Mountpark Illescas logistics centre in Spain achieved an Excellent BREEAM rating in part due to the use of Granite® organic coated steel in corporate colours produced by ArcelorMittal Europe – Flat Products for the facade sandwich panels.

A memorandum of understanding between ArcelorMittal and the Spanish government will lead to a direct reduced iron unit and electric arc furnace installation, reducing carbon emissions and enabling ArcelorMittal Sestao to become the world’s first full-scale zero carbon emissions steel plant.
