The Craiova & Targu-Jiu Stadiums

Romanian football fans are excited to be enjoying the new Craiova stadium that was designed based on inspiration from Brancusi’s sculpture “Mademoiselle Pogany.” This iconic new stadium was built with ArcelorMittal Galati’s Hollow Structural Sections (HSS). Our HSS steel is also being used in the renovation of the Targu-Jiu stadium. The tribune roofs are partially mounted, the scoreboards are up, and football fans are waiting anxiously for the opening of the stadium later this year.
