Prefabrication & modularity

In the ongoing pursuit of innovative, efficient, and cost-effective construction methods, prefabrication and modularity have a great deal to offer. Construction elements or modules constructed off site in specialised facilities reduce material usage and allow for thorough quality inspection under controlled conditions, thus reducing both cost and construction time without compromising quality.

Prefabrication and modularity offer many benefits, including:

  • faster construction
  • a greater degree of cost predictability
  • less dependency on site conditions leading to higher productivity
  • reduced material waste and transport carbon emissions
  • increased safety for workers

Modular construction uses the same materials and designs to the same codes and standards as conventionally built buildings.
